2006 Abbotsford International Airshow

The 2006 edition of the Abbotsford International Airshow was easily the best in recent memory. Some rare highlights were a two-ship demonstration of the US Navy S-3 Viking and a B-1B Lancer. An F-15E Strike Eagle, C-17 Globemaster and T-6 Texan II all performed for the first time at Abbotsford.

On a personal note, the highlight of the show had to be the opportunity to do a photo shoot with my dad's 1969 Ford Torino and the F-16 Viper West demo team. That was an amazing opportunity and I'd like to thank the whole Viper West team, and especially TSgt James "JV" Vollmer, for accommodating us. A few of those pics can be seen below.
