On this page I will include some of the other aircraft and sites at 19 Wing Comox during my visit.

The non-aviation highlight of the day had to be this bald eagle seen flying around the beach area at the base. Apparently, bald eagles are quite common in the area. As an aside, the one disadvantage to shooting digital I find is that it takes a few seconds to turn on so if you need that quick shot your camera better be on. I was reminded of this the hard way when this very bald eagle flew right over us about 10 feet over our heads. What a massive bird. I had the camera in hand but, guess what, it was not on. Would have been the shot of a lifetime. Oh well...

Comox based CC-115 Buffalo on take off and a visiting AETE CT-133 Silver Star. Thanks to AETE the T-33 still pops up at the occasional Canadian airshow.
