As always, one of the highlights of the airshow at Hillsboro is the demonstration put on by the Oregon Air National Guard and their F-15s. In the morning, two F-15 two-seaters (one a -B and one a -D) departed from Hillsboro. They later returned with a couple flybys and landed. This was not the demo; nor the aircraft that would participate. Later in the day two F-15As arrived from their base at Portland International Airport for a number of passes and runway approaches before departing. The crowdline is quite close to the runway resulting in a great opprotunity for photographs, not to mention the sun is to your back all day.
