The weather the day following Media Day at Maple Flag was absolutely awful. It was cold and windy and on top of that there was a driving rain, which occasionally turned into a driving snow. We had brief ramp access for the recovery of some aggressor aircraft as well as some of the CF-18s operating for the "good guys". The afternoon launch was scrapped due to the poor weather. Most of the images below were taken before the rain began.

Two A-4 Skyhawks operated by Advanced Training Systems International were contracted out to act as adversary aircaft alongside the Nellis F-16s as well as some CF-18 Hornets.
