Below are a few of the historic Royal Canadian Air Force / Canadian Armed Forces aircraft on display within Cold Lake, both the town and the base. The F-104 Starfighter is located within the town close to the main base entrance. The CF-5 Freedom Fighter is the most recently retired aircraft on display (although I hear a CF-18 is being prepared for permanent display). It is at the main base entrance (before the main gate). Lastly, the CF-101 was parked on the ramp at the base waiting for a new paint job. There were a number of other aircraft on display that I was planning on photographing but the weather turned absolutely dreadful so I just got a quick shot of the Voodoo.
