There was a large number of warbirds present at Nellis AFB for the airshow. There were flying demonstrations by F-104 Starfighters, a MiG-17 Fresco and a F-86 Sabre. Also, two P-51 Mustangs, a P-38 Lightning, a P-47 Thunderbolt and the F-86 participated in the Heritage Flight. This B-25 Mitchell was parked on the active ramp during the airshow. It took off during the airshow and returned later only to land. It is unclear to me what the purpose of the flight was as it did not do any flybys at the airshow.
