Exercise Trident Fury took place over and around Vancouver Island from May 8 to 19 and involved the Armed Forces of Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. The photographs below were taken on May 10th at Victoria International Airport which was host to 6 F-15 Eagles, 2 E-2 Hawkeyes, 4 Alpaha Jets and an E-3 Sentry for the duration of the exercise.

The British Columbia Aviation Museum is located at Victoria International Airport. A couple of the many aircraft on display are an A-26 Invader; still in markings from its career as a fire fighter for Conair Aviation, and a Sikorsky S-55 in Royal Canadian Navy markings.

A couple more F-15 Eagles depart Victoria International, and soon after that the two that departed earlier were recovered.

Also based at Victoria International Airport were four ex-German Air Force Alpha Jets operated by a civilian company called Top Aces. The Alpha Jets were participating mostly in nighttime exercises and did not take to the air during my visit. I was lucky enough to get an opportunity to walk around the jets and take a few photographs.
